The 2022-23 NBA Playoffs are fast approaching with the Play-In beginning today. It appears there is not a dominant favorite to win it all this year, which allows for more dispersed odds on the NBA Champion. As it sits there is a favorite, but not much of one, and they all sit at +265 or higher. The following article highlights two teams per conference with a chance to win it all.

Eastern Conference:
The Milwaukee Bucks (+265) are the overall favorites to win the tournament. It is for a good reason too. They won it all in 2021, and still have the key pieces of that roster in tact. Plus a few role players that could make it difficult for them to lose four games in a best of seven. The Bucks hold the best record in the NBA, and will have home court advantage throughout. They went an outstanding 32-9 at home with a respectable 26-15 on the road… The Bucks to win the NBA finals is worth a unit bet.
The Philadelphia 76ers (+900) The 76ers have the Point scorer, and likely MVP in Joel Embiid. He has had a phenomenal year and proved to be a true leader of a great team, with a championship winning coach. The third seed means they will have to go through the Boston Celtics and the Milwaukee Bucks, but if there is one team in the Eastern Conference who can do it… It’s the 76ers. Place .5 unit for the 76ers to pull off an upset.

Western Conference:
The Denver Nuggets have lead the Western conference for four months and have gained no respect along the way. The Denver Nuggets to be Champions odds are currently +1100! That is insane for a team that has a winning record against the remaining top three seeds in the conference, have a back-to-back MVP, and arguably the most well rounded starting five in the NBA. The Western Conference is up for grabs and while their is a heavy tilt on the Phoenix Suns, their lack of defenders and figuring out who is going to be the guy (D. Booker or K. Durant) on any given night will be a difficult task for Chris Paul. Lay a unit on the Nuggets to win all, and have 11 unit come up if they continue to do what they have done all season… win.
The last one is a true wild card but finished 3rd in their division and can out pace and out score almost any team in the playoffs! The Sacramento Kings are at the disrespectful line of +8000, far too high for a third seeded team. To put that in perspective a $25 bet earns you a profit of $2,000…for a third seeded team… in a wide open West. Place .25 unit for them to win it all! D. Sabonis is the league leader in rebounds and fourteenth in assist, D. Fox is a top twenty scorer, and thirtieth in assist. There is a path to the finals for the Kings, and it is actually well traveled. If the Kings get past the empire that is the Warriors, they will have a major shift in odds. Take advantage now.
