The Eastern Conference features familiar foes, as the Boston Celtics host the Miami Heat for game one. The Celtics are the clear favorite to win the series and the betting odds reflect it. However, Erik Spolelstra, Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, Kyle Lowry, and Kevin Love all know a thing or two about being a conference champion, and over half of them have hoisted the Larry O’Brien trophy. The Eastern Conference will be far from the Western Conference’s high scoring battle(s). This will be won via good defense, and timely made shots. It’s anyone’s series as this will be the third time they have played in the playoffs in four years.

Bets of the Night:
MIA +11.5 (-140). The Miami Heat have an absurdly high +8.5 on the spread. A teased line of 3 points is at great odds, and gives a cushion for unaccounted variables. With the realistic scenarios of; Miami wins, a close last second game, or a slight blowout, his spread should cover. The Heat play to well on defense, and had too much rest to lose by 12 points.
Max Strus OVER 11.5 Points (-120). This line is ridiculously low. He has gone over 11.5 points in five games in a row, Strus will need to be there third or fourth leading scorer for the Heat to get by the Celtics. He’s played 25+ minutes, shot 11+ times, and in four of those games he made 3+ threes. Trust him to keep his hot streak going against a streaky Celtics defense.

Golden Triangle: 1 Guard, Forward, Center for DFS on Draftkings
Center – Bam Adebayo. He is averaging 39.7 fantasy points per game and should have a double-double against the combo of Williams/Horford. HIs point line is at 18.5 and if he scores 19+, he has contributed well in addition to his rebounds. His cost is $9,000 and could be worthy of a captain spot for game one.
Forward – Max Strus is a SG/SF option, and cost only $5,600. In the last series he had fantasy point totals of 26.5, 19.8, 31.5, 28.3, 21.3, and 18.0. Void of bad performances and some high end value at his cost.
Guard – Marcus Smart at $7,000 seems like a steal. He had only one game lower than 23 fantasy points in the series versus the 76ers, and had a 45+ fantasy point game as well. He’s going to see plenty of minutes and if Tatum is having an off day Smart could shoulder more scoring.
