Denver Nuggets (1-0) vs Memphis Grizzlies (0-1) 5:00 PM
Last year this was an interesting match up to watch, and some had these two playing each other in the Western Conference Finals. The Memphis Grizzlies have four starters from last year out of the line up, while the Denver Nuggets have all five returning starters, an intact bench, and promising rookies. Jokic is averaging a triple double and he could get another one tonight with Memphis so thin at the center position. Marcus Smart will have tough defense against Jamal Murray with Jaren Jackson Jr. (JJJ) will do his best to stop the big men combo of Jokic, Gordon, and MPJ. Memphis is a tough place to play, and although missing several players, are still a tough out. Expect the Denver Nuggets to pull away in the second half of this game.
DFS noteworthy players: Nikola Jokic, Jaren Jackson Jr., Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
BETS OF THE GAME: 1/1 +.6U
Denver Nuggets MONEYLINE -200 DK
The Nuggets should handle the Grizzlies with ease, the line has moved up to -5.5 on the spread from -4.5 yesterday. The spread is in play too but with two bets we want to keep the streak going. Trust Denver to out play, out coach, and win the game.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope > 10.5 Points +100 DK
KCP had 20 points in the first game of the season against the Lakers. He also led the team with 36 minutes, indicating he will see a great deal of court time again. He is the starting shooting guard for the Champions and should get 10.5 with ease. Marcus Smart is an excellent defender, but he will be on Jamal Murray often, just as the Lakers wanted to harass Murray while he had the basketball. This benefits KCP, with more wide open looks. Trust the bet.
Thank for reading and ¡Vamos Los Nuggets!
