The Denver Nuggets have been well tested in both of their games this season, and today will be no different. The Nuggets have their third straight Western Conference opponent and their second road game in a row. On top of that, today is the first game of back-to-back games. The young Oklahoma City Thunder are 2-0 on the season, and will be bringing their best against the Nuggets.

One key matchup is Jamal Murray against fellow Canadian Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. They will bring out the best in each other, and it will be fun to see who puts up the better numbers. This will be Denver’s toughest test of the season, and there are no weaknesses in the Thunder’s starting five, but they do not have a two-time MVP.. advantage Nuggets.

BETTING:
It is a tough straight bet tonight, though the OVER seems in play. With that in mind, the smart option is teased betting.
To start, teasing the Denver Nuggets’ spread from -3.5 to +3.5. If it is an off night or Coach Malone decides to give more rest to be prepared for the back-to-back games, the Nuggets have a deep enough bench to keep this a close game. Hopefully they win, and this article will never pick an opposing team to beat the Denver Nuggets, NEVER! Second teasing Michael Porter Jr.’s rebounding line from 7.5 to 5+. He has 25 rebounds in two games (the same as Nikola Jokic) and he seems to have dedicated his summer to improving his rebounding skills… After all he is 7′ tall and that is an advantage on almost everyone in the league.
Lastly teasing down Jamal Murray’s point line from 21.5 to 20+. The entire Denver Nuggets franchise wants to see Jamal Murray receive and All-Star bid and make the All-NBA team. He is on a pace to do both of those. As mentioned he is up against SGA, and the truth is Jamal Murray has to have a good game, EVERY game, for the Nuggets to win against tough opponents. He could well exceed this line, but a teased line on a tough game is the way today.
