The Golden State Warriors continue their road trip, tonight against the Denver Nuggets. This is the first match up between the previous two NBA Champions, the next is the marque match on Christmas Day. The Nuggets are up against another brutal Western Conference opponent, and find themselves in a match that will likely go the distance again. Since April first the Denver Nuggets have lost one home game… game two of the NBA Finals. The Denver Nuggets will be without Jamal Murray once again, while the Warriors have Draymond Green listed as day-t0-day for personal reasons. Should he miss the game against the Nuggets it will tilt the game dramatically.

The Nuggets are the deepest team in the NBA with Christian Braun, Peyton Watson, Collin Gillespie, and Julian Strawther playing exceptional minutes in the come from behind victory against the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday. Some are even calling it rookie Julain Strawther’s coming out party as he scored 21 points in 19 minutes. The Golden State Warriors have a true second unit also, with Gary Payton II, Chris Paul, Dario Saric, and Jonathan Kuminga. All four of those players played 19 minutes or more against Detroit and all but one scored ten or more points. Stephen Curry has been on a tear, as the only player over 30 points per game through the first eight games. He has been the Warriors leading point scorer in every game this season… a feat difficult to do at any age.

The Nuggets are first and the Western Conference and the Warriors are third… this is going to be a battle, but the bets should cover with ease.

If Draymond is not playing then Gordon will draw double teams and dish to the open man. The Nuggets lead the Western Conference in assists per game with 30.8, and are constantly beating teams up the court after made buckets. Trust Gordon.

The simple reasons is the Nuggets best two players on the court tonight will be Nikola Jokic and Aaron Gordon, so they are the base of the SGP. Curry has averaged over 30 points per game this season, and we just need his average tonight.
