LA (3-6) +4.5, +155
DEN (8-2) -4.5, -190
Total 224.5
James Harden and the LA Clippers come to Ball Arena to take on Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets remain undefeated at home, but are coming off a rough loss to the Houston Rockets. The Clippers are discussed more than the Denver Nuggets nationally, but since the addition of James Harden, they have not won a game. Russell Westbrook was very clear in his body language and answer, that this would be a transition for the Clippers and it would take some time. He should know this is his third team to be on with James Harden.
This is an In-Season Tournament game and most of these games have been entertaining and played with higher intensity. The Nuggets have had a little rest at home before they begin a five game road trip. This is a crucial game to stay atop the West B group. The Nuggets have had at least two players earn a double-double in every game this season, and will be tough for the much smaller Clippers to handle. Trust the size of Denver to get past the Clippers who are in clear dysfunction.
BET OF THE NIGHT: Michael Porter Jr. OVER 7.5 Rebounds -110 MGM
MPJ has really focused on his rebounding game this off-season and it is reflected in his stats this season. He is averaging 8.2 rebounds per game this season, and has gone over this line four of his last five games. He is attacking the rim and setting himself up for better position, which at 7’ tall becomes a problem for most forwards in the NBA. He should be able to take advantage of anyone the Clippers use against him.
Thanks for reading.
¡Vamos Los Nuggets!
