Tonight is another tough Western Conference battle as the Denver Nuggets travel to New Orleans to take on the Pelicans. It also happens to be an In-Season Tournament game. The Denver Nuggets were able to comeback from a twenty point deficit at Ball Arena to beat the Pelicans earlier this month. Tonight’s game is at the Smoothie Center, a difficult place to play. The Nuggets will be without Jamal Murray, but the Pelicans are without CJ McCollum, Jose Alvarado, Trey Murphy III, and Larry Nance. As great as their superstars are, their bench is banged up, and the starters will be forced to play more minutes.

The Nuggets have a hard battle ahead of them tonight, but should find a way to pull out the win in such an important game. Nikola Jokic has recorded at least a double-double in every game this season, and should get well over ten rebounds again tonight. Aaron Gordon’s playing time has been 34:25 or more in every game since the injury to Jamal Murray… There are only 48 minutes in a game. His one-two game with N. Jokic has been improving, and at a level not seen since A. Gordon was signed. A. Gordon had 27 combined points and rebounds in their last meeting, and gone over this line in all six games Jamal Murray has been out. Put a unit it on it for almost 2 units on the ROI.
