The Denver Nuggets’ road trip gauntlet continues tonight. The Nuggets have lost three of their last four games, and all of those losses were on the road. In addition to that, tonight is the second of back-to-back games for Denver. Although there was a reaction from the Nuggets fans that the officiating was bad, the Cleveland Cavaliers only shot three more free throws. They did shoot over 7% better from the field, they out rebounded the Nuggets 47-33, they did pass the ball better with more assists 30-23. So simply put Denver got outplayed.

Tonight they are up against a much younger and not as refined team in the Detroit Pistons. It is difficult to gauge both performance and expected playing time in back-to-back games. However, championship teams do not allow losing streaks to continue for too long. They are tired and missing Jamal Murray, but must play better defense and with more effort. This is considered an easy win by the sportsbooks estimation, but it could be closer than most Nuggets fans want it to be.

BET OF THE NIGHT Michael Porter Jr. (MPJ) OVER 2.5 Threes made.

An oldie but a goodie, MPJ has had zero assists in four straight games. In those same games his three point attempts have been; 9,6,8,10. His shots made went down from previous weeks and a wager should be placed on it, because it likely will go back up the next game. Trust MPJ to do what he does best, make shots from behind the arc. Thanks for reading.
¡Vamos Los Nuggets!
