Every Week on Midweek Madness I do a segment Called “Force or Farce”. This segment covers players from the QB, WR, RB AND TE positions. It keeps getting harder and harder each week as the top 14 becomes more and more solidified.

A “FORCE” player consists of a player that is currently ranked outside of the Top 14 players through the current NFL week that I believe has a chance to finish as a Top 14 player this week.

A “FARCE” player is a player that is currently ranked inside of the Top 14 players through the current NFL week but could potentially have a bad week and not live up to said top 14 ranking this week.

This week the show was put on Hold due to Holiday. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

By the way, this isn’t a Start/Sit article. It’s more of a precautionary play article.

Bye Week Teams: NONE

FORCE Players

QB – Justin Fields (QB20) @ Minnesota Vikings
I’m really liking Fields this week against a Minnesota team who just allowed Russell Wilson to beat them. Even though he will be facing the team that caused his initial injury, I still like Justin to put up QB1 numbers this week.

Justin came back from injury and was immediately impactful. Maybe not through the air, but he went over 100 yards on the ground against Detroit. He gets another indoor game vs Minnesota who’s actually been very good at slowing down rushing Quarterbacks. But, Before his injury last time they played, he was on pace for 75 rush yards. Look for him to hit 75+ on the ground this week plus a rushing TD and about 150 through the air and a passing TD.

WEEK 10 FORCE
Kyler Murray (QB42)(QB8 Finish) MONEY! He’s definitely Back.

RB –  Ty Chandler (RB61) Vs Chicago Bears
Tyson Chandler season is amongst us! Finishing as RB15 last week as my Sleeper Pick. 10 attempts for 73 rushing yards and he was also involved in the passing game! Receiving four targets and catching all four of them for 37 yards.

Chicago is allowing the fifth most targets to running backs and the number 1 defense in receiving yards ALLOWED to running backs. Regardless of Mattison being the “lead back” he has been a fumbling machine. If Minnesota wants to get this win, they will need to get Ty even involved in the passing game and running game.

WEEK 10 FORCE
Devin Singletary (RB44)(RB8 Finish) MONEY!
[Sleeper Pick]
Ty Chandler (RB71)(RB15 Finish) RIGHT

WR – Jayden Reed (WR35) @ Detroit Lions
Jayden has been absolutely balling the last two weeks with two top 12 finishes! He gets another juicy matchup this week against the Detroit Lions who have been giving up massive points through the air to WRs since their bye week.

Last week against Chicago, DJ Moore put up 96 yards and a touchdown. Two weeks ago vs Keenan Allen went for 175 yards and two Touchdowns. A total of 4 touchdowns were caught that week. Look for Jayden Reed to benefit for the third straight game even with Doubs and Watson in the mix.

WEEK 10 FORCE
Noah Brown (DNP)
[Sleeper Pick]
Rashee Rice (RB44)(RB43 Finish) Meh.

TE – Kyle Pitts (TE17) Vs New Orleans Saints
So Kyle is legit a dart throw for me due to Arthur Smith not caring about your Fantasy team. This legit could be another Jonnu game for all we know. But, if you are looking for someone with consistent targets and a great matchup, look no further. Pitts hasn’t had a game with under 5 targets since week 4 and the Saints are allowing 7+ targets a game to Tight Ends. What Pitts is really lacking is his touchdown upside, as he only has 1 on the year. Good thing for Kyle though is New Orleans are tied at number one for TDs allowed to Tight Ends. All we can hope for is a Score from him this week. The opportunity is here for Pitts to put up big numbers. Let’s see what Arthur has schemed up after last weeks Bye.

Sleeper TE Picks:
Jonnu Smith (TE16) Vs New Orleans
Isaiah Likely (TE58) @ LA Chargers (Opportunity)

WEEK 10 FORCE
Trey McBride (TE16)(TE11 Finish) RIGHT.
[Sleeper Pick]
Luke Musgrave (TE22)(TE18 Finish) Meh. Also got a Lacerated Kidney during the game.

FARCE Players

QB – Russell Wilson(Again) (QB14) Vs Cleveland Browns
I’m going to be putting Russ here every week until he falls out of the top 14. He may be “Cookin” for real life Football, but he’s been middling for Fantasy Football. Look for Russ to fall outside the top 14 again this week against the number two ranked defense against Quarterbacks, the Cleveland Browns.

WEEK 10 FARCE
Russell Wilson (QB12)(QB18 Finish) SMASH PASS! Definitely had a feeling Minnesota could slow him down a bit for Fantasy Football. In “Real Life Football” he got the win against the Vikings.

RB – Brian Robinson (RB4) @ Dallas Cowboys
At this point in the season we would think a different B. Robinson would be sitting at Running Back 4. But here we are with Brian being that guy! He has been absolutely balling the last two weeks, getting involved in the passing game in a big way. It isn’t easy for me to put him back here in my FARCE group for week 12, but here we are.

This is going to be a tough matchup for our guy Brian. Since their Bye week in week 7, the Cowboys have only allowed one running back to score more than 10 Fantasy Points and zero RBs to score more than 12 Points. Even with Gibson potentially sitting out this week, I’m still going to be wearing of Brian finishing inside the top 14 running backs.

WEEK 10 FARCE
Rachaad White (RB10)(RB13 Finish) MISS! I definitely missed on this take. Rachaad looks really dang good.

WR – Ja’Marr Chase (WR7) Vs Pittsburgh Steelers
It is so friggin hard to say a guy like Ja’Marr will fall outside the top 14 Wide Receiver this week, but I think it happens. Jake Browning will be at the helm this week and until further notice with Burrow going on Injured Reserve. Browning played 56% of the snaps last week and hit Ja’Marr with a two yard touchdown pass at the end of the game. That play with one minute on the clock saved Chase’s horrible day of one catch on seven targets for ten yards before the two yard TD catch.

Maybe this week Chase and Browning get more in sync. But he’s about to get a tougher matchup this week with a Steelers front that has been getting to the Quarterback and disrupting them at a massive rate. I believe we will see more check downs to Mixon and probably Trenton Irwin or Tanner Hudson benefit from the chemistry with Browning.

WEEK 10 FARCE
Adam Thielen (WR9)(WR21) GOOD CALL!

TE – Cole Kmet (TE6) @ Minnesota Vikings
Even though I’ve got Fields as my FORCE QB doesn’t mean Cole Kmet will be the beneficiary as I have Fields doing most of his work on the ground. Cole is Tight End 6 on the year with only 5 finishes outside the top 14. The last two weeks have been pretty mediocre. We have zero bye weeks this week as well giving him even more opportunities to fall outside the top 14. Despite the amount of targets he’s been getting, he just hasn’t been producing big numbers and hasn’t scored with Fields being back on the field. Let’s give Kmet 4 catches for 45 yards on Monday night.

WEEK 10 FARCE
Logan Thomas (TE14)(TE14 Finish) MEH. He still finished right on the edge of 14.
