The Denver Nuggets attempt to get back on the winning track with the Western Conference last place San Antonio Spurs coming to town. The Nuggets have dropped four of their last five games in this brutal road game stretch. However there is a brief pause in the road trip as this game is at Ball Arena, where the Nuggets are undefeated (7-0). Aaron Gordon is out this game with a heel injury, and Peyton Watson is questionable for the game, which will mean more minutes for Julian Strawther.

MPJ’s minutes are going to go up, and he will be asked to score from the interior more than he would with Aaron Gordon in. This should allow for more defensive and offensive rebounds against one of the worst rebounding teams in the league… despite their heights. He has gone over this line in five games this month and should absorb some of what usually are A. Gordon’s boards.
