*This Injury Report will cover any player who was injured in week 2 and updates on previous weeks injuries. QUARTERBACKS

  • TUA TAGOVAILOA (Dolphins) IR (Out 4 Weeks Minimum.)
    Injury: (Concusion)
Its sounding like Tua wont be back until week 8 against the Cardinals. My feeling is, they need to play it safe here with Tua. Im hoping they give him an extra few weeks to rest as this is his third “recorded” concusion in 24 months. This is the future of their Franchise we are talking about here and also this young man’s brain.

Fantasy Impact: Move him to IR in Dynasty and in any Redraft League with IR Spots. Feel free to drop to Waivers in single QB leagues.
  • JORDAN LOVE (Packers) Out (Potential week 5 return.)
    Injury: (MCL Sprain{Knee})
If you stopped by to read last weeks injury report, I projected a week 5 return against the Rams in LA. Milik Willis has been serviceable enough to get them a win in his first start. If he can get 1 more win this week against the bad Titans, they will be 3-1 and things will be looking good for the Packers during Jordans time away healing.
According to Rob Demovsky, Jordan Love has returned to practice and he’s running some drills while wearing a leg sleeve. I truly hope they don’t fire him up too soon.

Fantasy Impact: If Jordan starts, I’d be hesitant to start him in 1 QB Leagues. Bench Jordan until further notice. My guess is Malik Willis to get at least one more start. Feel free to start Malik in Superflex Leagues if you really need to.
  • J.J. MCCARTHY (Vikings) IR
    Injury: (Torn Meniscus)

QUARTERBACK NEWS

  • BRYCE YOUNG (Panthers) Benched
    Replacement for now: ANDY DALTON
I don’t think Bryce Young is cooked nor do I feel he is a bad Quarterback. I believe he got drafted by a bad organization withan even worse owner. They didn’t take the time to develop this kid. Mel Kiper knows! Honestly I truly hope they trade this kid and give him an opportunity to develop somewhere.

Fantasy Impact: Feel free to snag up Andy Dalton off of Waivers in deeper leagues. He will definitely put up better numbers than Bryce Young. In Dynasty I’m still stashing Bryce Young. The talent is there.

RUNNING BACKS

  • CHRISTIAN MCCAFFREY (49ers) IR
    Injury: (Achilles Tendinitis)
According to Ian Rapoport (NFL Network Insider) on NFL GameDay, “Christian McCaffrey is likely to be out 6 weeks or more.”
This truly affects a lot of people whom had a top pick in their fantasy football drafts. If he’s out a minimum of six more weeks, the puts his return at week 9 at home against the Cowboys. But with the 49ers being on Bye week 10, my guess is he wont be back until week 11 in Tampa Bay.

Fantasy Impact: Move CMC to IR in Dynasty and in any Redraft League with IR Spots. If you’ve rostered Jordan Mason FIRE HIM UP.
  • ISIAH PACHECO (Chiefs) IR
    Injury: (Fractured Fibula)
According to Adam Schefter (ESPN NFL Insider) X {formally Twitter}, “RB Isiah Pacheco expected to be sidelined 6-8 weeks.”

Fantasy Impact: Move him to IR in Dynasty and in any Redraft League with IR Spots. Kareem Hunt visited with the Chiefs on Tuesday and signed to their practice squad. Carson Steele and Samaje Perine will get the looks in the backfield until then, but I’d love to see Kareem get back to work in KC’s backfield. Hes worth a stash.
  • JOE MIXON(Texans) Questionable
    Injury: (Ankle)
According to Tom Pelissero (NFL Insider @ NFL Network) on X {formally Twitter}, Joe Mixon is one of several players who are upset and/or injured by hip drop-type tackles this season. He is getting an MRI on his ankle on Monday. Sounding like it shouldn’t be a long term injury.

Fantasy Impact: Wait for more details. Let’s hope he plays in week 3 against the Vikings. If Mixon can’t go, Cam Akers will face his former team the Vikings.
  • RACHAAD WHITE (Texans) Questionable
    Injury: (Groin)
According to Jeremy Fowler (ESPN NFL Reporter) on X {formally Twitter}, Rachaad White’s groin injury from Sunday isn’t considered major.
“Should be good,” a source said.
With him being limited in practice on Wednesday, I wouldn’t be expecting too much out of him if he plays.

Fantasy Impact: If Bucky Irving is out on waivers, I’d recommend picking him up. Bucky has been starting to look good in the run game and has been taking rushing opportunities away from White. Rachaad has been good for catching passes but hasn’t looked great rushing as he’s averaging just over 2.0 yards per carry.
  • MARSHAWN LLOYD (Packers) IR
    Injury: (Ankle)
  • NICK CHUBB (Browns) RESERVE/PUP
    Injury: (Knee)
  • JONATHON BROOKS (Ravens) RESERVE/PUP
    Injury: (Collarbone)
  • KEATON MITCHELL (Dolphins) RESERVE/PUP
    Injury: (Undisclosed)

WIDE RECEIVERS

  • COOPER KUPP(Rams) Out
    Injury: (Knee)
According to Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic, Sean McVay stated that Cooper Kupp will eventually be headed to IR and that the injury isn’t season ending. Which is definitely great news for Dynasty Managers that roster him.

Fantasy Impact: Sounding like Kupp might be heading to IR. Nothing set in stone yet. Bench for now.
  • JUSTIN JEFFERSON (Vikings) Day to Day
    Injury: (Quad Contusion)

Fantasy Impact: From what I was hearing on KFAN this week, it is really is sounding like he will be good to go against the Texans this week. Absolutely fire him up this week without hesitation if he goes. JJ and Sam Darnold are absolutely in sync.
  • JORDAN ADDISON (Vikings) Day to Day
    Injury: (Ankle)

Fantasy Impact: It really doesn’t sound good for Addison this week. My guess is the Vikings will rest him for one more week to be heathy for the Packers game. Look for Jalen Nailor out on Waivers.
  • AMON-RA ST. BROWN (Lions) Day to Day
    Injury: (Thigh Contusion)
In this clip, Amon-Ra talks about a play in last weeks game where he takes a helmet to his thigh. Seemed to be a hot day and he was cramping up. Could be a conditioning issue but nothing I’m not too worried about.

Fantasy Impact: Sounds to me like he’s playing this week. Fire him up with confidence.
  • A.J. BROWN (Eagles) Out 1-2 weeks
    Injury: (Hamstring)
A.J. Brown missed Monday’s game with a hamstring injury and it absolutely seemed to affect the Eagles offense this past week. Hopefully he isn’t out too long but hamstrings can be a tricky injury that may linger.

Fantasy Impact: Bench A.J. until further notice.
  • GABE DAVIS (Titans) Day to Day
    Injury: (Shoulder)
Sounding like Gabe Davis is good to go, according to Mia O’Brien, and will playing in week 3 against the Bills at Buffalo. Revenge game? Probably not. But if you are looking for a narrative or reason to play him, I guess maybe this.

Fantasy Impact: This team is in shambles. If you can avoid starting anyone not named Brian Thomas Jr. and/or Travis Etienne, I’d highly recommend it.
  • PUCA NACUA (Rams) IR
    Injury: (PCL Sprain)
  • MARQUISE BROWN (Ravens) IR
    Injury: (Collarbone)
  • ODELL BECKHAM (Dolphins) RESERVE/PUP
    Injury: (Undisclosed)
  • KENDRICK BOURNE (Patriots) RESERVE/PUP
    Injury: (Torn ACL)

WIDE RECEIVERS NEWS

  • JOSH DOWNS (Colts) Active
    Injury: (High Ankle Sprain)
Josh Downs will be making his debut this week against the Bears as long as he can get through the practice week healthy. Fresh new look with the hair cut could boost his confidence coming into a new year of football.

Fantasy Impact: High ankle sprains can be tricky. Seeing as he was just injured in the preseason, they may ease him back in, which could mean limited reps. If you grabbed Alec Pierce off the waivers, I’d play him over Downs this week.

TIGHT ENDS

  • EVAN ENGRAM (Jaguars) Week to Week
    Injury: (Hamstring)
According to an article by Zach Goodall (JAGSWIRE), Doug Peterson talked about Evan Engrams injury saying, “It was significant enough to keep him out, hold him out of the football game yesterday,” Pederson said Monday. “We’ll see where he is this week. [I’m] optimistic but we’ve just got to see. Hamstrings can be funny. So, it’s kind of a week-to-week deal right now with him.”
To me this sounds like he wont be playing the Bills this week.

Fantasy Impact: Welp, I guess we wait and see. This Jaguars offense has been atrocious without Engram. Sit him until further notice. Like Doug Peterson said, hamstrings can be tricky.

  • JAKE FERGUSON (Dallas) Day to Day
    Injury: (Knee)
According to Todd Archer (ESPP NFL Nation), Jake Ferguson got in a good practice on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact: If Jake is ready to go, then I’m willing to start him. Schoonmaker definitely took advantage while Ferguson was out, but he should go back to his old role.
  • DAVID NJOKU (Browns) Out
    Injury: (High Ankle Sprain)
David Njoku was a “No Go” at practice today. According to Cleveland’s 92.3 The Fan, From what they have been hearing from Kevin Stefanski, Njoku is a “unlikely” to go this week.

Fantasy Impact: Njoku is out again unfortunately. Bench him until further notice.
  • T.J. HOCKENSON (Rams) RESERVE/PUP
    Injury: (PCL Sprain)
  • TYLER HIGBEE (Ravens) RESERVE/PUP
    Injury: (Collarbone)

KICKERS

  • GRAHAM GANO (Giants) Out
    Injury: (Hamstring)
Graham Gano got injured last week chasing down Austin Ekeler on a kickoff return. Hamstrings are tricky., epecially for a kicker. The giants signed kicker Greg Joseph off of the Lions practice squad and he should be starting in week 3.

Fantasy Impact: Graham Gano is droppable in all formats.
