Denver Broncos at New Orleans Saints
Sean Payton returns to the Big Easy in a week 7 match against the team he took from Bourbon Street to Championship Avenue. This a match up between two rookie quarterbacks and two great defensive minds; Dennis Allen and Vance Joseph.
A short week of preparation could lead to a slow, low scoring game, and The Sports Affiliation is looking to take advantage. Bettor Takes’ stats suggest it is a good bet on the under 37.5 points in this match, and we are putting a unit on it.
5 touchdowns for two struggling and injured offenses may be too much to ask for on Thursday Night Football.
UNDER 37.5 Total Points -110

Weekly Sports Fun Fact

Black Power Salute at the Olympics
On October 16th 1968, US athletes Tommie Smith and John Carlos caused a sensation when they raised their black-gloved fists in protest, the salute of the Black Power political organisation, on the podium at the Mexico City Olympics after the 200-meter sprint.
They’d already removed their shoes in a protest against poverty and they also wore beads against lynching. Smith and Carlos were later ordered to leave the stadium and were expelled from the American track team. Their actions came amid the context of the Vietnam War and the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. but remains one of the most powerful images of protest ever.
