RB 32 J.K. Dobbins DEN

The second Denver Broncos running back cracks Mano y Mano. RJ Harvey was #35, J.K. Dobbins is #32, and they should be a lethal duo. J.K. Dobbins is the veteran and will be the starter. His 2024 numbers are impressive for a player coming off a torn Achilles. He earned 1,084 total yards, recorded 32 receptions, and scored 9 touchdowns. All with a new team, and he is once again on a new team.

The Broncos signed Dobbins after drafting Harvey, and it is on a one year deal. That is an indicator that they are going to run him early and often. It is similar to leasing a car for a year without a restriction on miles. Dobbins is a great runner in both gap and zone schemes, explosive enough for breakaway runs (27 carries of 10+ yards in 2024), and strong enough to get goal line touches.

Dobbins is tremendous value as his ADP is RB #40 and 113 overall. Sean Payton’s offense has proven the ability to make two RBs valuable, look at Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara. Dobbins gets the nod ahead of Harvey and should finish much higher than RB 40.

LB 32 Carson Schwesinger CLE

The Cleveland Browns are one of the most intriguing, and mysterious, teams for fantasy football. There are five quarterbacks on the roster, their longtime stud running back is gone, their high draft pick is not signed and in legal trouble, and their top two linebackers are not going to be active. Jordan Hicks retired just over a week ago, which surprised many. Meanwhile Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah is on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list, and will be out for the entire 2025 season.

That has forced 2025 second round pick, Carson Schwesinger into a starting role in the AFC North. The Browns could have a terrible offense, which means Schwesinger could see somewhere around 1,000 snaps. As a rookie he will be targeted in the pass game, and a top 16 finish is more than possible. A modest ranking of 32 is listed for Mano y Mano, but the path to a much higher ranking is set up for Schwesinger.

His ADP is all over the place depending on how in tune, and risky an IDP manager is. He is worth a draft pick, and could be the surprise player of the year.
