RB 29 Zach Charbonnet SEA
The Seattle Seahawks have a new offensive coordinator in town, Klint Kubiak. And he loves to establish the run early, and run it often. This is great news for one of the best running back duos in the NFL, Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet. Charbonnet has had moments of carrying the full load as Walker has missed time in all three years. Both are similiar in running style, but Charbonnet is the bigger of the two backs.
Walker may have more impressive statistics, but Charbonnet started 6 games and appeared in all 17. He ended with 909 total yards, 42 receptions, 9 touchdowns, and has yet to fumble in his NFL career. The Seahawks will enjoy the luxury of playing in one of the weakest divisions (NFC West). In just those six games alone, they could have a positive game script and have more than average rushing attempts.
Running Back #29 is a great call for Charbonnet who has a volatile floor and ceiling. If you draft Walker, Charbonnet is a must grab, and he has stand alone value for those that do not.
LB 29 – Danielle Hunter HOU
The Houston Texans have back to back players in the Mano y Mano, and it’s a fringe Hall of Fame player. Danielle Hunter is traditionally a lineman, but does get dual designation on Sleeper as a linebacker. Other platforms might have him listed as a “Edge”. He is a potential top three defensive lineman, and has landed on the list of linebackers for good reason.
First and foremost 6′ 5″, 263 pound guys that can run a 4.57 are rare, extremely rare. Hunter is entering his 10th season, and has an excellent list of defensive teammates. He might not even be the best pass rusher on the team, although he did lead the Texans in sacks last year. He played 859 snaps, recorded 74 tackles, 15 quarterback hits, 12 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles. Hunter has 109 career sacks and is 14 away from moving into top 20 all-time.
Draft Hunter early and have a plug and play IDP for the season.
