RB 26 Tony Pollard TEN

Tony Pollard is almost a forgotten player in the fantasy football world. So are most of the Tennessee Titans players. However, a smart fantasy football manager is looking for value, and every angle to get ahead. Pollard is one of those values, and could be a heavily rostered player on championship teams. He is in his second year with the Titans, after four successful seasons in Dallas.

It’s a bit odd that Pollard is little discussed as he has over 1,300 total scrimmage yards in each of his last three seasons. Including 3 consecutive seasons of over 1,000 rushing yards. He had 41 receptions on 57 targets last year, and the Titans have a rookie quarterback that will lean on Pollard as an outlet. Although back up Tyjae Spears is expected to more involved, the same thing was said last year. Pollard has tremendous upside, an incredibly high floor, and has an ADP of RB 28. Grab Pollard with confidence and have an RB 2 with RB 1 upside.

LB 26 Will Anderson Jr. HOU

The Houston Texans have their third player in five days, and fourth in Mano y Mano. Will Anderson Jr. showed great improvement last year, and could be a Defensive Player of the Year finalist. He is listed as a defenensive lineman and linebacker on Sleeper, and could be listed as an “Edge” on others. Either way he is going to an amazing IDP.

Anderson is entering his third year and should take another leap in production. First is the fact that he’s yet to put together a 17 game season. He played 14 games last year, and put together some impressive stats. He logged just 46 tackles, but getting to the quarterback is where he excels. He earned 22 quarterback hits, 1o tackles for loss, and 7 sacks. Those numbers will go up if he plays 17 games this season.

Anderson’s ADP is all over the place depending on the scoring settings of IDP leagues. In leagues which sacks and QB hits are rewarded highly, he has more value. Grab him and know you have a player with a high weekly ceiling.
