RB 23 Chase Brown CIN
Chase Brown was an unexpected surprise for the Cincinnati Bengals as he was initially set as RB 2 on the depth chart. However he came out and impressed and took over as the starter. Last year he started just 10 games, only 685 snaps and still earned 990 rushing yards, 360 yards receiving on 54 receptions, and 11 total touchdowns. Due to that his value has gone up immensely this season.
Brown’s current ADP is RB #11 and his highest consensus at NFL.com with #34 overall. Here are the three big predictions for the Bengals this season; Burrow to lead the league in pass attempts, Chase to be WR #1, Brown will be a RB 1 (top 12) by season’s end. By applying logic all three of those seem impossible together. The only logical way these three happen is Bengals are behind in every game, Burrow throws tons of passes to Brown, and Brown scores 12 or more touchdowns.
One of those have to be off a little bit, and TSA is banking on Brown being a little overvalued. He is cleared to be a great RB 2 on a good offense, and the ceiling is much higher. Just don’t let expectations be too high.
LB 23 Terrel Bernard BUF
The Buffalo Bills have a true star for linebacker in Terrel Bernard. He has been superb over the last two years, and the Bills defense suffered when he was out of the lineup. Although he was active in the playoffs, he missed four games, and only played 14 snaps in another. Despite that he earned 104 combined tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 3 passes defended, 3 quarterback hits, 2 interceptions, 1 sack, and 1 forced fumble. A true stat sheet stuffer.
The Bills are poised for another AFC East championship (5 consecutive), another deep playoff run (2 AFC championship appearances since 2020), and possibly get over the hump. Bernard is a foundational piece of those goals, and could be awarded his first All-Pro or Pro Bowl selection. Draft Bernard with confidence and have a plug and play LB for the season.
