RB #21 D’Andre Swift CHI

D’Andre Swift is entering his second season with the Chicago Bears and his first with new head coach Ben Johnson. Last year was Swift’s first to play 17 games, and he finished with 1,345 scrimmage yards. That was the most of his career, but the six touchdowns tied a career low. Johnson is expected to improve on the 18.2 points per game, and Swift will be a major benefactor.

Swift has 39 or more receptions in every year of his five year career. He earned a career high 61 receptions with the 2021 Detroit Lions, which happened to be Johnson’s first year as the offensive coordinator. Swift’s best seasons came when Johnson became the Lions coordinator, but they have spent three years together. With the news that Caleb Williams is having difficulty, Swift could be used early and often.

His prediction is a mid range RB 2, but Swift can finish as a top ten running back. At his current value, Swift is a potential steal of the draft..

LB #21 DeMario Davis NO

DeMario Davis is a legendary linebacker of his time. He is entering his 14th season, and has played 16 or more games in every season. It’s an incredible account of Davis’ reliability, stamina, and physical health. He has played 215 games including playoffs, and has put together a hall of fame career. The New Orleans Saints will be an awful offensive team, and Davis could lead the league in snaps due to it. He played 1,090 snaps last season, and he is expected to play that many or more this season.

Last year he earned 136 combined tackles, the most of his career. He has 99 or more tackles in 10 seasons, and he gets a bump in leagues which reward tackles heavily. He also has recorded a sack in every year but his rookie season, and has 58 career passes defended. Davis is at the center of everything the Saints defense hopes to accomplish, and his LB 21 ranking is his floor. He could finish as a top ten linebacker once again. Grab Davis when he presents himself.
