RB #20 Najee Harris LAC

This is the biggest surprise of the list, and it could be an error but it remains. This list is made in July, and it becomes difficult to replace players in the top end of the list. However if Harris makes a full recovery from his eye injury he will be a great running back. He’s a bruiser in an offense ran by Greg Roman, and if he plays every game, RB 20 is more than achievable.

First and foremost, Harris has started EVERY NFL GAME OF HIS CAREER. He hasn’t missed a game. That is 68 starts in 68 games, a feat very few running backs have achieved this century. It’s a credit to his durability, physical abilities, and a high football IQ. He led the league in touches his rookie year (381), a year he had 94 targets and 74 receptions. He is a true three down back with ability to protect the quarterback and catch out of the backfield.

Hampton may have fell to the Los Angeles Chargers in the 2024 NFL draft, but Harris was targeted by them as well. Monitor Harris’ eye injury, and take a chance on him going as RB 41.

LB 20 LaVonte David TB

Some players are high IQ, never leave the field warriors. LaVonte David is one of those warriors. He is entering his fourteenth season and has played 208 games including the playoffs. David has started everyone of those games, the definition of a leader. He is the active leader in solo tackles with 1,111 credited to him. That is 1,111 times he has brought down an offensive player without help.

That is not all though. In the regular season David has 73 quarterback hits, 70 passes defended, 39 sacks, 31 forced fumbles, 19 fumble recoveries, and 13 interceptions. He is a true, do it all linebacker that earns a heavy amount of tackles. He has been a cornerstone piece for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in good times and in bad. These aren’t numbers from the past either. Last year he earned 122 combined tackles, 6 passes defended, 6 quarterback hits, 3 forced fumbles, 1 interception, and set a career high with 5.5 sacks.

David is simply one of the best of the best and #20 is the floor for the future hall of fame member. Do not hesitate to draft him above his ADP.
