RB #17 Jaylen Warren PIT

The Pittsburgh Steelers start 2025 with a new look in their backfield. Aaron Rodgers is brought in at quarterback, and Jaylen Warren steps in as the starter. Third round pick Kaleb Johnson is making big noise in training camp, and has potential for a bigger role. Warren is still the lead back and is in his first real opportunity to shine. Rodgers doesn’t like mental mistakes, and if Johnson messes up just once, Warren’s snap count will go up. Simply because Rodgers wants a dependable running back that he can audible a pass protection or hot route to.

Warren’s career numbers are not impressive; 1,674 rushing yards, 894 receiving yards, and 6 rushing touchdowns. He has provided great pass catching ability, and Rodgers should check down to him often. He has 127 career receptions, and in 2023 earned 61 on 74 targets. This is his chance to earn a lucrative second NFL contract, and the expectation is a career year. Warren is being undervalued, and the Steelers let Najee Harris go for a reason. That reason is Warren’s ability.

Warren is being drafted as RB #30 and 90th overall. Be patient for Warren and draft him at his amazing value.

LB #17 Jack Campbell DET

Jack Campbell is often overlooked in 2025 Fantasy Football drafts, and it is due to his lackluster 2024 year. He played and started all 17 games but at times was out performed by his teammates. Once Alex Anzalone was injured, Campbell was forced into a slightly different role. With the return of Anzalone, and Aidan Hutchinson less pressure will be on Campbell.

He did earn 131 combined tackles last season, and that is where the bulk of his points came from. He did earn 5 passes defended, 5 quarterback hits, 1.5 sacks, and 1 forced fumble. Yet those are not moving the needle much in the world of IDP fantasy football. Campbell is still young, entering his third season. There is still room to improve, and his athletic ability combined with a high football IQ has never been questioned.

Also aiding Campbell is the fact that the Lions offense is projected to take a step backwards. Losing an offensive coordinator and passing game coordinator will have an effect on the offense. Which in turn will help Campbell’s snap count and his overall points. Draft Campbell as a solid LB 2, and expect about that from his production.
