RB #15 Chubba Hubbard CAR

Chubba Hubbard could be ranked too low, as a top five finish is well within grasp. The Carolina Panthers paid Hubbard last year, and gave him a four year extension. Thus putting their faith in him being their guy going forward. He has proven his worth to both the team and the fantasy football community, but there are still those that have doubts.

Hubbard has led the team in rushing yards each of the past two seasons, and three of the last four. Last year he earned 1,195 rushing yards, 43 receptions, 171 receiving yards, and 11 total touchdowns. Head Coach Dave Canales has displayed his favoritism for a true, lead back, and Hubbard should benefit again. The Panthers did not draft any offensive linemen, and believe in Hubbard and their line to replicate their success.

His ADP is currently RB #18 and 46th overall. He does go well before that at times, and rarely slips into RB 20 range. Take Hubbard early as RB 15 is a floor to a potential league winning running back.

LB #15 Edgerrin Cooper GB

The Green Bay Packers have snuck under the radar during training camp and pre season. Most of their offense has experienced some degree of injury, and Jordan Love had surgery earlier this month. Most of the talk around the defense is the expected bad secondary following the departure of Jaire Alexander. However Edgerrin Cooper could play well enough to earn an All-Pro nomination.

He earned 87 combined tackles, 7 quarterback hits, 4 passes defended, 3.5 sacks, 2 fumble recoveries, 1 forced fumble, and 1 interception in just four games started. He only played 575 snaps, and 70 those were on special teams! Cooper is going to be “The Guy” for Green Bay, and if he continues to be a do-it-all LB, finishing LB #1 is in play. His ADP is mostly inside the top 15 linebackers drafted, and if you want him reach a round earlier than you are comfortable with. Those that draft Cooper will not regret it.
