Each week, I will provide a brief update on each team, including the latest injury concerns and performances from the past week. This will also include recommendations for potential waiver-wire pickups and suggested FAAB bids. FAAB bids and availability will be based on the FPPC $1000 bankroll. Week 13 is in the books. Let’s reason backward to look forward for all 32 teams. Players mentioned as possible waiver wire additions are available in at least 6% of FPPC leagues at this time.  

Arizona Cardinals

Three horrible games in a row by Lamar, but they are still tied for first in their division. 

Possible Waiver Addition: As you get set for the playoffs, it’s a good idea to have some spare RBs on your roster. Keaton Mitchell would take over the high-volume role if anything happened to Derrick Henry. He is worth a $25 bid and is available in 17% of FPPC leagues. 

Buffalo Bills

They need to spend on a top-notch WR in the offseason

Carolina Panthers

Bryce Young has a friendly young group of WRs to throw to, and it has made a difference. 

Possible Waiver Addition: If you need some insurance for the Fantasy Football playoffs, at QB, Bryce Young is a nice addition, and at WR, Jalen Coker is worth a bid too. Both are cheap this week since they are on bye. Young is worth a $10 bid and is available in 12% of FPPC leagues, while Coker is a bargain at $10 and is available in 35% of leagues. 

Chicago Bears

Could have made a fortune betting on the Bears being the top seed in the NFC after 13 weeks back in August

Possible Waiver Addition: Kyle Monangai is still available in 16% of FPPC leagues and is worth a $50 bid this week. 

Cincinnati Bengals

Joe Burrow should get some MVP votes if he continues to win down the stretch.

The sad thing is that the Vikings might not have a QB as good as Sanders or Gabriel.

Dak is playing quality football, and the defense has improved since the trade deadline.  

Possible Waiver Addition: Malik Davis is taking over as the backup to Javonte Williams and is still available in 94% of FPPC leagues. He is worth a $10 bid this week.

Possible Waiver Addition: Kimani Vidal is still available in 53% of FPPC leagues. Even when Hampton returns, he might still get some volume, and there is still a chance Hampton isn’t ready this week. A $50 bid is a wise investment.  

Los Angeles Rams

This team is not built to play outdoors in bad weather

A three-game winning streak will mess up their draft capital  

Possible Waiver Addition: Ollie Gordon would get most of the volume if anything happened to Achane, so he is worth a $10 bid and is available in 24% of FPPC leagues.  

Minnesota Vikings

Is Fran Tarkenton available to QB this week?

New England Patriots

Coach Vrabel is living up to his coaching tree by annoying fantasy football managers with his RB usage. 

Possible Waiver Addition: Kashon Boutte is a high-risk/reward type player and is still available in 48% of FPPC leagues. Since he is on bye this week, he would be a cheap $25 bid to add for the Fantasy Football playoffs.  

New Orleans Saints

Neal got the volume, but not great results, in his first week replacing Kamara. 

Possible Waiver Addition: Devin Neal could be a cheap addition to a fantasy roster for a $25 bid and is available in 28% of FPPC leagues.  

New York Giants

Jaxson Dart, Cam Skattebo, Malik Nabers, and Theo Johnson are an attractive group of offensive players for a solid coach to pursue.

Don’t look now, but the Jets will have a solid WR room when Garret Wilson returns.  

Possible Waiver Addition: Adonai Mitchell and John Metchie have swapped lead WR roles over the last two weeks. Mitchell is available in 45% of FPPC leagues, with Metchie available in 71% of leagues. Both are worth a $25 bid this week. Tyrod Taylor is an emergency relief at QB, worth a $10 bid, and is available in 84% of FPPC leagues.   

Philadelphia Eagles 

Does anyone really expect them to win the division title now?

Possible Waiver Addition: Chris Rodriguez is a nice addition for $10 this week and is available in 42% of FPPC leagues. He isn’t likely to get you 20 PPR points, but he should get you 7+ per week.
