======================

Each week, I will provide a brief update on each team, including the latest injury concerns and performances from the past week. This will also include recommendations for potential waiver-wire pickups and suggested FAAB bids. FAAB bids and availability will be based on the FPPC $1000 bankroll. Week 16 is in the books. Let’s reason backward to look forward for all 32 teams. Players mentioned as possible waiver wire additions are available in at least 6% of FPPC leagues at this time.

Arizona Cardinals

Jacoby Brissett has finished in the Top 12 at QB in week 9 of 10 starts this year, but the Cardinals have only won once in those 10 starts, showing the disconnect between real NFL value and Fantasy Football value.

Possible Waiver Wire Adds: Jacoby Brissett is worth a $100 bid and is available in 56% of 1QB FPPC leagues. RB Michael Carter is the last man standing in the RB room, worth a $150 bid, and is available in 65% of leagues.

Atlanta Falcons

Drake London only got a lot of great cardio work last week, but he should be better this week.

No Waiver Targets This Week

Baltimore Ravens

Hard to believe the AFC Playoffs without Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow, and Patrick Mahomes, but this is our reality this season.

No Waiver Targets This Week

Buffalo Bills

If Josh Allen’s ankle is hurt worse than he says, the Bills are doomed in the playoffs.

No Waiver Targets This Week

Carolina Panthers

First place in the division should earn their coach some votes for Coach of the Year with this roster.

Possible Waiver Wire Add: WR Jalen Coker is becoming one of the top targets for an improving QB. He is worth a $100 bid on FPPC and is available in 26% of FPPC leagues.

Chicago Bears

Just imagine how great this team will be next season

No Waiver Targets This Week

Cincinnati Bengals

The team is only 3-2 with Joe Burrow at QB this season.

No Waiver Targets This Week

Cleveland Browns

Shadeur Sanders is the most polarizing player at QB since Tim Tebow.

No Waiver Targets This Week

Dallas Cowboys

Until Jimmie gives up control of roster decisions, this team will continue to flounder.

No Waiver Targets This Week

Denver Broncos

If they clinch home-field advantage, that could be a big deal for the playoffs.

No Waiver Targets This Week

Detroit Lions

The Conference Championship hangover gets another year of confirmation

No Waiver Targets This Week

Green Bay Packers

I still haven’t figured out how they lost that game to the Bears last week, but I think the ghosts of Dave Duerson and Walter Payton were actively involved.

No Waiver Targets This Week

Houston Texans

They still haven’t clinched a playoff spot, but they have the best defense right now and should be the team others don’t want to play.

Possible Waiver Wire Add: Woody Marks will probably be ready this week, but the only RB left on the bench behind him is Jawhar Jordan, and he looked perfect again last week. He is worth a $150 bid and is available in 89% of FPPC leagues.

Indianapolis Colts

The fact that a 44-year-old QB who has been away from the game for 5 seasons is doing better than many young QBs is an indictment of the QB play in the league right now.

No Waiver Targets This Week

Jacksonville Jaguars

Trevor Lawrence has posted some impressive Fantasy Football numbers and has also led his team to some significant victories in real football.

No Waiver Targets This Week

Kansas City Chiefs

No truth to the rumor that the Chiefs asked Hall of Fame Joe Montana to come out of retirement for what could be Travis Kelce’s last home game.

No Waiver Targets This Week

Las Vegas Raiders

Could you imagine the temper tantrum Al Davis would have after this season? He would fire everyone, down to the ball boys and people selling popcorn.

Bowers to IR, so get a replacement. Tongas Barner Helm etc

Los Angeles Chargers

Next season, when this team has a healthy offensive line, watch out, they will be hard to beat.t

No Waiver Targets This Week

Los Angeles Rams

The NFC West Division is indeed the Wild West this season, and the Rams might be the most complete team of the bunch.

No Waiver Targets This Week

Miami Dolphins

They didn’t think Ewers gave them the best chance to win; they just wanted to move up in the draft.

No Waiver Targets This Week

Minnesota Vikings

How has this team won 7 games this year?

No Waiver Targets This Week

New England Patriots

Drake Maye has made a case for being in the “Best QB in the AFC” argument with his play this season, and it’s only his second season.n

No Waiver Targets This Week

New Orleans Saints

Might be the most impressive 5-win team in NFL history

Possible Waiver Wire Add: QB Tyler Shough has not been great, but he won’t hurt you if you need an emergency replacement at QB. He is worth a $50 bid and is available in 26% of FPPC leagues.

New York Giants

One look at this roster, when healthy, and they are the number one open coaching vacancy in the NFL right now.

No Waiver Targets This Week

New York Jets

Garrett Wilson has only played six games yet leads the Jets in receiving yards this season.

Possible Waiver Wire Add: WR Adonai Mitchell has two strong games in the last three starts. Anyone on this Jets offense is a risky play, but if you are desperate, he is worth a $100 bid and is available in 30% of FPPC Leagues.

Philadelphia Eagles

Has there ever been a defending Super Bowl Champ with so many issues?

No Waiver Targets This Week

Pittsburgh Steelers

Just a few weeks ago, the home fans were rooting for Tomlin to be fired, and now he is on the verge of making the playoffs again.

No Waiver Targets This Week

San Francisco 49ers

Brock Purdy went from being Mister Irrelevant to being destined to wear a gold jacket.

Possible Waiver Wire Add: Tonga’s is an interesting add if Kittle can’t go! He is worth a $175 bid if needed.

Seattle Seahawks

Sam Darnold has played well enough to get paid.

Possible Waiver Wire Add: TE AJ Barner is a solid low-end starter at TE; he is worth a $100 bid and is available in 52% of FPPC leagues.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Three straight bad losses have them on the verge of missing the playoffs

No Waiver Targets This Week

Tennessee Titans

Imagine Cam Ward behind a better offensive line?

Possible Waiver Wire Add: TE Gunnar Helm is developing into a solid player toward the end of his rookie season and is worth a $75 bid.

Washington Commanders

Rebuilding this roster in the offseason might be difficult

No Waiver Targets This Week

Wrapping It All Up: Based on $1000 FPPC FAAB

QB $100 Jacoby Brissett

QB $50 Tyler Shough

RB $150 Michael Carter

RB $150 Jawhar Jordan

WR $100 Jalen Coker

WR $100 Adonai Mitchell

TE $125 Tongas

TE $100 AJ Barner

TE $75 Gunnar Helm
